It makes the users to easily click the link and scroll down to read what they wanted. If you are not using any tools, then you can easily create them on your own as well. These codes are customizable and can be easily added to your website.

How to Link within a Page?

Two terms are mainly used to Link within a Page. They are,

  1. Anchor
  2. Link to Anchor

Anchor

The Anchor is the key which helps us to move to that specific place. For example, If you are writing a 10 Paragraph story with a heading each and you want to link each heading on the top, then each heading will be provided with an Anchor which acts as a key to link it.

It is similar to creating an external link. Instead of the URL, you will be adding the anchor here with a # in the front.
